Jaipur: SMS hospital became corona free, now patients will be treated in RUHS

The state’s largest Sawai Mansingh hospital became Non Corona Hospital since Monday. Now the treatment of normal patients in SMS Hospital has started again. Corona patients will be treated at RUHS (Rajasthan University of Health Sciences), Pratap Nagar. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot gave this information through a tweet on Monday.

Gehlot said that the state government is committed to provide best health services and non-corona patients will be treated at SMS Hospital, Jaipur from Monday 1 June. Being the largest hospital, SMS Hospital has been made corona free. He told that RUHS, Pratapnagar and Women’s Hospital, Sanganeri Gate will give treatment to corona patients in Jaipur city.

It is noteworthy that OPD, IPD and emergency medical facilities for Corona infected were started in SMS Hospital in the early stages in view of the outbreak of Corona epidemic. Now Corona specialists and all staff will be able to go to RUHS, Pratapnagar and provide medical facilities to the infected. Corona OPD, which runs in the hospital’s Charak Bhavan, will also be shifted to Pharmacy College in the coming days. Till then the patients associated with cough and cold-fever will be treated here. After transfer to Pharmacy College, medical facilities will be released here as before.
